Nikhil’s X (formerly Twitter) post on December 21 went viral, garnering over a million views, as he appealed to netizens for assistance in recovering his AirPods.
According to Nikhil, he lost the AirPods during a bus ride in a National Park in Kerala, and they were swiftly taken within two minutes. He noted that the person now in possession of the AirPods had been in south Goa for two days, suggesting they might be a resident of the area.
In a lighthearted comment, Nikhil remarked in the post’s comment section, “If Twitter helps me find my AirPods, what a story it will be to tell the kids around.”
Providing a subsequent update on December 22, Nikhil shared that the AirPods had been turned in at the Margao police station, adding a surprising twist to the unfolding story.
