Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis Outlines Seven-Point Action Plan For Improved Governance
In a virtual meeting with divisional commissioners, district collectors, municipal commissioners, police commissioners, and superintendents of police, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today unveiled a seven-point action plan to prioritize key initiatives over the next 100 days. The progress of this plan will be reviewed on April 15, 2025.
Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, along with cabinet members, attended the meeting.

Key Directives from CM Fadnavis
- Update Official Websites: Ensure transparency and cybersecurity by updating government websites with information required under the Right to Information (RTI) Act.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep government offices clean, dispose of unnecessary documents, and decommission unused vehicles.
- Ensure Basic Amenities: Provide clean drinking water and hygienic restrooms in offices, which will be monitored through surprise inspections.
- Address Local Issues: Resolve two local issues per jurisdiction and display officers’ availability timings for citizens.
- Decentralize Problem-Solving: Solve district-level issues locally to reduce crowding at the state headquarters by implementing initiatives like Lokshahi Din.
- Promote Ease of Working: Facilitate discussions between officials, departments, and entrepreneurs to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Engage with Communities: Schedule visits to schools, villages, health centers, and other programs, ensuring proper implementation under the supervision of district guardian secretaries.
