Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis chaired a comprehensive review of 33 major infrastructure projects during the CM War Room meeting held on April 21, 2025. The meeting underscored the government’s commitment to accelerating balanced growth and development across Maharashtra. Action Taken Reports (ATR) for 18 key projects were presented, reflecting steady progress and enhanced accountability. 

During the review, 31 critical issues were successfully resolved, paving the way for smoother project execution. Additionally, 15 new infrastructure proposals were discussed, showcasing the government’s proactive approach in addressing future growth needs.

Key projects reviewed included the Gadchiroli Railway, the Dharavi Redevelopment initiative, and the Pune Metro — all of which are pivotal to improving connectivity, urban infrastructure, and regional development. The Pune Metro, in particular, remains a flagship project expected to transform public transport in the city.

The meeting also took up 48 new issues, with the Chief Minister stressing the importance of timely resolution to avoid project delays. He reaffirmed the government’s dedication to removing hurdles and fast-tracking development initiatives that serve both urban and rural communities.

The government reiterated its focus on delivering quality infrastructure that aligns with the aspirations of citizens and drives Maharashtra toward sustainable growth.
