Maharashtra Elections: Top 10 MLAs with Highest Margins; Chandrakant Patil, Sunil Shelke, and Shankar Jagtap Among Them

The grand alliance (Mahayuti) secured a historic victory in the Maharashtra Assembly elections, winning 236 out of 288 constituencies. Among these, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged as the leading party, clinching 132 seats. Notably, several Mahayuti candidates registered victory margins exceeding one lakh votes. All the top 10 MLAs with the highest leads belong to the Mahayuti alliance.
In Satara, BJP’s Shivendraraje Bhosale topped the list with an impressive margin of 1,42,124 votes. Following closely, Dhananjay Munde from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) secured the second position with a lead of 1,40,224 votes. Pune district’s highest margin was achieved by Chandrakant Patil in Kothrud, followed by Sunil Shelke and Shankar Jagtap.

- Maval – Sunil Shelke (NCP): Victory margin of 1,08,565 votes.
- Owala-Majiwada – Pratap Sarnaik (Shiv Sena): Victory margin of 1,08,158 votes.
- Malegaon Outer – Dada Bhuse (Shiv Sena): Victory margin of 1,06,606 votes.
- Chinchwad – Shankar Jagtap (BJP): Victory margin of 1,03,865 votes.
- Baramati – Ajit Pawar (NCP): Victory margin of 1,00,899 votes.
Additionally, Jitendra Awhad from NCP won the Mumbra-Kalwa constituency with a margin of 96,228 votes, while Sanjay Upadhyay from BJP secured victory in Borivali by 95,054 votes.
