Maharashtra: Medical Assistance From CM Relief Fund To Become More Accessible

Obtaining medical aid through the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund will now be easier. A special committee has been formed to review diseases, reassess financial assistance amounts, and establish criteria for hospital affiliations.
The committee will be chaired by the Director of the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (Mumbai). Other members include the Director of the Directorate of Health Services (Mumbai), the Director of the Directorate of AYUSH (Mumbai), the Dean of Sir J.J. Hospital Group, the Dean of Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital (Sion), and Chief Minister’s Advisor Dr. Anand Bang.

Additionally, the Section Officer of the CM Relief Fund Cell from the Chief Minister’s Office will serve as the Member Secretary.
The committee will provide recommendations on medical treatment-related issues raised by the CM Relief Fund Cell from time to time.
