Pune, September 16, 2025: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has commenced the online registration process for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination 2026. Registrations opened on September 15 and will remain active until October 6. The annual board exams are scheduled to be conducted in February–March 2026.

As per the Board’s instructions, applications of regular students will be submitted through their respective schools using the Pen-ID via the ‘UDISE Plus’ platform. The online application process also applies to re-examinees, private candidates with enrollment certificates, students availing credit transfers under the upgradation scheme, candidates choosing rare subjects, and students from industrial training institutes. In these cases, submissions will be made through school principals on the official website, www.mahahsscboard.in.

Before filling in applications, secondary schools must update their institutional profiles on the portal, including details related to recognition, sanctioned subjects, and faculty records. After submission, a provisional pre-list of candidates will be generated through the school login facility. Schools are required to print this list, cross-verify it with the General Register, and authenticate each page with the principal’s signature and seal.
