Pune, October 11, 2025: In a major boost to Pune’s real estate market, Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd, the real estate and infrastructure arm of the Mahindra Group, announced the acquisition of a 13.46-acre land parcel in the Nande-Mahalunge area near Hinjewadi. The project is expected to generate a development potential of approximately ₹3,500 crore.

According to the company’s statement, the newly acquired site is strategically located with quick access to Hinjewadi and is surrounded by well-developed social infrastructure, including reputed educational institutions and business hubs. The land parcel lies equidistant from the Baner-Balewadi and Hinjewadi micro-markets — both key centres for IT and BFSI sectors in Pune.

“Mahalunge-Nande-Maan are among Pune’s most promising micro-markets, having witnessed robust absorption in recent years. There is strong and growing demand for high-quality, future-ready homes with modern amenities in this region,” said Vimalendra Singh, Chief Business Officer – Residential, Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.

In addition to the Pune project, Mahindra Lifespace also announced on October 10 that it has been chosen as the preferred partner for the redevelopment of four residential societies in Malad West, Mumbai. The redevelopment spans around 1.65 acres and offers a development potential of ₹800 crore.

The Mumbai project is located just 2.6 km from the Western Express Highway, less than 1 km from the Malad West Metro Station, and about 1.5 km from the Malad Railway Station, offering residents seamless connectivity across Mumbai through multiple modes of transport.
