Massive Fire Breaks Out Again at Mahakumbh, Several Tents Destroyed, No Casualties Reported
Mahakumbh, Prayagraj: A major fire broke out in the tent city located in Sector 22, Chatnagar, of the Mahakumbh Mela on Thursday. Over a dozen tents were completely destroyed by the flames. The fire quickly spread, engulfing the area, with 40 tents in total being set up at this location.
Simultaneously, another fire broke out in Dome City, located in Sector 25 of the Mela area in Naini, around 4:30 PM on Thursday. Authorities were promptly alerted, and multiple fire engines rushed to the scene. Thankfully, there were no casualties in either incident, and the fire was brought under control after considerable effort from the fire department.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
