Kheer is known to be the favourite food item of Lord Rama. Be it sabudana kheer or payasam, kheer is a must when it comes to Ram Navami  Prasad. That is enough a reason for the Founders of Mireya Foundation, Deepti Virddi, Adv.Manpprit Virddi and Smrite Mody to distribute rice, milk, sugar along with the other basic grocery requirements to a slum area in Wadachi Wadi, Undri. Ram Navmi is a Hindu festival that celebrates the Birth of Lord Rama.

Mireya Foundation works tirelessly to educate the underprivileged children and also eradicate hunger. On a daily basis they aim to feed the children living in slums with education and meals. Their aim is to establish a pre-school for the less privileged and work towards their upliftment in every possible way.

Festivals like Ram Navami, Gudi Padwa, where they recently distributed sarees to the LGBTQIA+ and books to the little children are just some reasons to celebrate with them all.
