Kondhwa News : Additional commissioner Vikas Dhakne visits Kondhwa to understand civic issues, assures to resolve them
Additional Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation, Vikas Dhakne was on a visit to Kondhwa, NIBM road and Parge Nagar to understand the problems mainly road widening issues at Jyoti chowk, Sarvodaya society, Bakers Point and Sunshree Kangan chowk. Â
Former corporator Nanda Lonkar, Members of Anandvan Foundation and Anandvan Parisar Residents Forum, residents of Sunshree Kangan, Ganga Florentina, Sunshree The Gold, Clover Pinnacle Ridge, Kumar Sublime were met Vikas Dhakne and apprised him of the various delays caused in road widening. Dhakne spoke to the residents and Nanda Lonkar and assured that the road issues will be cleared at various points in Kondhwa which will further reduce the congestion.Â
When Pune Pulse spoke about the meat shops cropping up in the Kausarbaugh and Parge Nagar area, Dhakne assured to resolve the issues and instructed the officials to remove all encroachments in the area and keep it clean and free from encroachments.Â
Members of Anandvan Parisar Residents Forum demanded an alternate route since the road between Cloud 9 and Sunshree Kangan will remain closed due to the ongoing road work. Anandvan Foundation members demanded that the PMC must look into the matter of making the Anandvan area into a no hawkers zone. Various members of the Clover Pinnacle Ridge and Parge Nagar residents demanded Pune Municipal Corporation water supply to the societies.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, former corporator Nanda Lonkar stated that his visit to the area was mainly to understand the issues pertaining road widening at Jyoti chowk, garden development work in Parge Nagar, Cloud 9 gradient road work and also the need of laying drainage line for the societies ahead of Cloud 9.
