Pune News : 114 domestic and commercial gas cylinders seized from illegal gas refilling station in Vadgaon BudrukĀ

On 29 March, the Social Security Department Crime Branch officers and Pune police officials raided a gas refilling station at Tukai nagar, Vadgaon Budruk Pune, and arrested four individuals who were illegally selling H.P. Gas and Bharat Petroleum Gas Company obtained gas cylinders for domestic and commercial use without any license. The accused were found violating the Essential Commodities Act by filling gas from the domestic gas cylinder using a refilling pipe to the commercial use cylinder.

A case has been registered against the accused under Section 285, 286, 34, Section 3 and 7 of the Essential Commodities Act, and a total of 114 gas cylinders, 02 three-wheeler tempo, 01 four-wheeler tempo, and other materials of commercial use were seized. The total amount of 17,22,700/- in question was also seized from them, including for domestic use.

The raid was conducted under the guidance of Amol Zende, the Senior Police Inspector Bharat Jadhav, and the team of police officials, including Saponi Ashwini Patil, Saponi Aniket Pote, Police Amaldar, Rajendra Kumawat, Ajay Rane Baba Karpe, Manisha Pukale, Hanumant Kamble, Imran Nadaf, Reshma Kank, Sandeep Kolge, Amit Jamdade, Kishore Bhujbal.

This action has been taken under guidance of Commissioner of Police Pune City Ritesh Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Police, Pune City, Sandip Karnik, and Additional Commissioner of Police, Crime, Pune City Ramnath Pokale.
