Pimpri: The construction of the missing link connecting Triveninagar in Nigdi to the Nashik Highway and the Old Pune-Mumbai Highway is nearing completion. To facilitate smoother traffic movement, the road has been temporarily opened for public use. After the land acquisition department transferred possession of the required land on February 15, the remaining roadwork was expedited and completed.

Currently, 80% of the project is finished, with a total road stretch of 450 meters developed. The construction of all six lanes, three on each side, has been completed. Additionally, the remaining ancillary works are progressing swiftly, and the road will soon be fully operational.

As per the approved development plan, the road will have a width of 75 meters, including two lanes (each 12 meters wide), a 9-meter-wide high-capacity mass transit route in the centre, and 2-meter-wide paved shoulders on both sides.

In the first phase, the asphalting of a 270-meter-long dual carriageway section was successfully completed.

Out of the total planned 550-meter road length, 450 meters have been completed as per the approved development plan.
