Actor Mona Singh, who was last seen in hit film Munjya, stunned fans with her dramatic body transformation. She revealed that she lost 15 kg over six months for an upcoming web series.

Lost Weight for Upcoming Show

The transformation was part of her preparation for a gangster drama titled Paan Parda Sarda. The makers reportedly asked her to lose weight for the role. Mona shared that she had often made weight loss her New Year’s resolution but never followed through. This time, she felt motivated by the role and took the process seriously.

She admitted that the initial days were difficult, but seeing results kept her going. She said the change in appearance gave her confidence and made her want to continue. She felt proud of finally being able to wear clothes she had always wanted to.

Yoga Over Gym

Instead of hitting the gym, Mona turned to yoga. She made it a daily habit and said it helped her stay consistent. Her yoga teacher also influenced her eating habits, telling her that eating once a day was the way of yogis.

Mona followed intermittent fasting and focused on a protein- and fiber-rich diet. She cut down on her food intake and became more mindful of what she ate. She stressed that discipline played a major role in her transformation.

Slower Lifestyle and Mental Wellness

She also highlighted the importance of slowing down in daily life. She said the fast-paced lifestyle, especially in a city like Mumbai, leaves people restless and stressed. She now values quiet mornings and meditation, which help her stay grounded and approach her day with clarity.

Mona admitted that laziness had held her back in the past. But once she committed to this journey, she stayed focused. She said losing weight is hard, but maintaining it is even harder.
