The data indicates that the Mumbai-Pune Expressway generated the highest toll revenue, amounting to Rs 163 crore in December 2024, which represents an increase from Rs 158.4 crore in December 2023. Notably, this expressway spans a distance of only 94.5 km. This achievement highlights that, despite its length being less than 100 km, it has attained the highest toll collection in the country.

Similarly, NH48, connecting Udaipur to Shyamalaji, reported earnings of Rs 27.6 crore in December 2024, up from Rs 26.3 crore in December 2023.

Meanwhile, the NH211 from Solapur to Yedashi reported consistent toll earnings of Rs 11.4 crore for both years. A notable increase was recorded on the Hyderabad Outer Ring Road, which generated Rs 71.3 crore in December 2024, an improvement from Rs 62.7 crore in December 2023.

Additionally, the NH27 from Samakhyali to Santalpur demonstrated remarkable growth, with collections soaring to Rs 13 crore in December 2024, up from a mere Rs 1.6 crore in December 2023.

“We have seen remarkable growth in our portfolio this month. Looking ahead, we are optimistic that this increase in toll collection will continue, fuelled by India’s robust GDP growth, which will elevate vehicle traffic across our network spanning 12 states,” informs Amitabh Murarka, Deputy CEO of IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited and IRB Infra Trust.
