Navi Mumbai is set to make history this December as it hosts Maharashtra’s first-ever Formula night street race, marking a new chapter in Indian motorsport. Racing Promotions Pvt. Ltd. (RPPL) has signed an MoU with the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, officially bringing the city its first FIA-grade street racing circuit.

The grand finale of the 2025 Indian Racing Festival (IRF) will see city roads converted into a 3.753 km FIA-certified circuit featuring 14 turns, sweeping past Palm Beach Road and Nerul Lake. Under floodlights, spectators will witness world-class racing in a dazzling night-time setting.

The event promises a double-header weekend with the Indian Racing League (IRL) and the FIA-certified Formula 4 Indian Championship (F4IC). With its technical layout and skyline backdrop, Navi Mumbai now joins global destinations known for iconic night races.

The IRF has already staged successful street races in Hyderabad and Chennai, with the 2025 calendar also covering Coimbatore and Goa. Navi Mumbai’s inclusion marks a bold step toward building a globally competitive motorsport ecosystem in India.

Adding glamour to the high-octane weekend will be celebrity team owners such as John Abraham (Goa Aces JA Racing), Arjun Kapoor (Speed Demons Delhi), Sourav Ganguly (Kolkata Royal Tigers), Sudeep Kichcha (Kichcha’s Kings Bengaluru), Naga Chaitanya (Hyderabad Blackbirds), and Dr. Swetha Sundeep Anand (Chennai Turbo Riders).
