Price Hike on Cars

Leading car manufacturers like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Mahindra, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi have announced price increases of up to 3% on their vehicles. The hikes, effective from January 1, aim to offset rising input costs, making it a good idea to finalize purchases before the new year.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has revised policies for Fixed Deposits (FDs) with NBFCs and HFCs. Key changes include:

Starting January 1, WhatsApp will no longer support older Android devices, impacting popular models including Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Ace 3, One X, Desire 500, Desire 601, Sony Xperia Z, Xperia T, Xperia V, Nexus 4, G2 Mini, Optimus G, Motorola Moto G, Moto E 2014.  

Users of these devices should consider upgrading to continue using WhatsApp.  

Thailand e-Visa System Launch

US Visa Relief for Indians

The US Embassy in India will implement new visa rules from January 1:  

– Rescheduling flexibility: Non-immigrant visa applicants can reschedule appointments once without incurring extra fees.  

– H-1B process updates: Starting January 17, 2025, new rules will modernize the H-1B visa system, providing greater flexibility for employers and smoother transitions for Indian F-1 visa holders.
