Union Civil Aviation Minister Muralidhar Mohol has announced that night landing flight services will soon commence at Shirdi Airport, with domestic and international flights to follow. This development comes after Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Water Resources Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah to resolve issues surrounding the airport.

According to Mohol, Home Minister Amit Shah has directed the provision of CISF manpower to Shirdi Airport, paving the way for night landing operations to begin within the next 15 days. Technical issues related to night landing are being addressed on priority to ensure a smooth rollout.

The Modi government’s efforts to expand air travel accessibility have led to a significant increase in the number of airports in the country, from 75 to 175 over the past decade. Additionally, plans are underway to provide affordable food and breakfast options to devotees at Kolkata airport, with intentions to extend this service to other airports nationwide.
