Mumbai: A television actor has accused her co-star of molesting her at a Holi party in Mumbai. The 29-year-old actor, who works with an entertainment channel, alleged that her colleague was drunk and forcibly applied colours on her despite her resistance.
According to the complaint, the incident occurred at a rooftop party hosted by her company, which was attended by several people. The actor claimed that she hid behind a stall to avoid her co-star, but he followed her and forcibly put colour on her cheeks.
Actor Alleges Threats and Inappropriate Touching
In her statement to the police, the actor said that when she covered her face, the accused grabbed her, applied colour, and repeatedly said, “I love you” and “Let’s see who saves you from me.” She further alleged that he touched her inappropriately before she pushed him away.
Shocked by the incident, the actor informed her friends, who then confronted the accused. However, she claimed that he pushed them aside as well.
Police Register Case, Accused Summoned for Questioning
Following the complaint, the actor and her friends approached the police, and a case was registered against the accused. Police officials have confirmed that the co-star has been summoned for questioning as part of the ongoing investigation.
Authorities have assured that the matter is being investigated thoroughly, and appropriate legal action will be taken based on the findings.
