NRRF extends helping hand to Dr Sudam Kate research foundation
NRRF (NIBM Road Residents Forum) donated Rs 11,000 to Dr. Sudam Kate Research Foundation on 9 November 2021. Dr. Kate a Padmashree Awardee and a resident of Pune, has established the Foundation for control of Sickle Cell diseases.

Dr. Sudam Kate foundation is also serving a residential school for more than 300 tribal students. They are collecting warm clothes, blankets, bedsheets for students. Even slightly used in good condition may be donated, said a NRRF member.
Sickle Cell is a genetic disorder and is common amongst tribal population. lt is a major cause of malnutrition of tribal children.
