Mumbai: A single phone call made the difference between life and death for Zeeshan Siddiqui, MLA and son of former MLA Baba Siddique, on a tragic Saturday evening. Just as Zeeshan was preparing to leave his office in Bandra’s Nirmal Nagar with his father, a timely phone call pulled him back, sparing him from the deadly attack that claimed Baba Siddique’s life.

Sources reveal that the attackers, allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang, had planned to kill both Zeeshan and his father. However, Zeeshan’s return to the office following the phone call separated him from his father, who was shot moments later as gunmen opened fire.

“That phone call was nothing short of divine intervention,” said a family insider. “It saved Zeeshan from certain death.”

The investigation indicates that the murder was premeditated, with the attackers tracking Baba Siddique’s movements for over a month. Disturbingly, reports suggest that ( supari )were used as payment for the contract killing.
