Pune: Parts Of City To Face Water Supply Disruption On July 17
Pune, July 2, 2025: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has issued a public notice stating that emergency structural repair work near Agam Mandir foothill will necessitate a complete shutdown of water supply in several areas on Thursday, July 3, 2025. The shutdown is essential to carry out urgent maintenance activities in the water supply system.
The PMC further informed that on Friday, July 4, citizens in the affected regions may experience low-pressure and delayed water supply. Residents are urged to store adequate water in advance and extend their cooperation during the maintenance period.
Areas to face water cut on July 3 include:
Dattanagar, Telco Colony, Amrai, Ambegaon Buddha Vihar area, Dattawadi Nagar, Waghjai Nagar, Ambel Farm area, Pancham Nagar, Wadar Wasti and nearby localities, Santosh Nagar, Anjali Nagar, Mahavir Kunj, Wonder City, Section Society area, Guruwar area, Ambegaon Khurd Gaothan, and Jambhulwadi Road.
The civic body has requested all residents in these localities to take necessary precautions and bear with the inconvenience caused by this essential maintenance.
The notice was issued by Nandkishore Jagtap, Chief Engineer, Water Supply Department, PMC, on June 30, 2025.
