PCMC Strengthens Sarathi System To Address Citizens’ Grievances Effectively
Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) is taking decisive steps to resolve concerns raised by citizens regarding their complaints on the Sarathi system being marked as closed without resolution. Acknowledging the gravity of this issue, PCMC has announced significant upgrades to the Smart Sarathi platform.
To ensure transparent and accountable governance, the revamped system will include a robust feedback mechanism where citizens can express their satisfaction or dissatisfaction with complaint resolutions. Complaints deemed unresolved will now be mandatorily reopened, ensuring that no issue is left unattended. Additionally, strict accountability measures will be implemented to identify and address lapses in the complaint-resolution process.
“Citizens’ voices are the foundation of effective administration, and responsive governance is our unwavering commitment,” stated PCMC Commissioner Shekhar Singh. These measures are expected to reinforce trust in the system and improve civic engagement.
This initiative reflects PCMC’s dedication to providing a citizen-centric approach to governance, addressing grievances swiftly and effectively while promoting transparency and accountability across departments.
