Pimpri, September 2, 2024 — The “PCMC Smart Sarathi” project by Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and Smart City has been awarded the Silver Award under the ‘District Level Initiatives in E-Governance’ category as part of the Central Government’s ‘E-Governance Scheme 2023-24.’ Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Shekhar Singh will receive the award on Tuesday in Mumbai.

This award, presented by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions, includes a certificate, a trophy, and a cash prize of INR 5 lakh. The award will be conferred at the 27th National E-Governance Conference (ACEG) on September 3, 2024, in Mumbai.

Through “PCMC Smart Sarathi,” the municipal corporation has provided numerous services and facilities to citizens, effectively leveraging technology in administration. The recognition at the national level has brought congratulations from all quarters for the corporation.
