Pimple Saudagar: Challenger Public School Celebrates Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Jayanti with Enthusiasm

Pimple Saudagar – Challenger Public School celebrated Teacher’s Day with great enthusiasm, marking the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna awardee, philosopher, and former President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The program began with the lighting of the lamp and floral tributes to Dr. Radhakrishnan’s portrait.
School Director, Sandeep Kate, addressed the students saying,
“A teacher is not just someone who imparts knowledge but also a sculptor of a student’s life. Dr. Radhakrishnan dedicated his entire life to emphasizing the importance of teachers. His personality continues to inspire all of us. In today’s world of technology, competition, and changing lifestyles, the role of teachers has become even more demanding. Students must respect their teachers and apply the lessons they learn in real life. Challenger Public School is not only committed to education but also to nurturing responsible citizens.”
Principal Suvidha Mahale added,
“Dr. Radhakrishnan valued the teaching profession so much that his birthday is celebrated as Teacher’s Day. Teachers are guides, mentors, and sources of inspiration for society. A student is like a blank sheet of paper, and teachers fill it with knowledge, values, and culture. To build a good society, we need good teachers. On this occasion, I salute all teachers and urge students to make the most of their guidance.”
Student Ananya Tulase (Grade 8) expressed her gratitude in her speech, saying,
“Our country has inherited a legacy of knowledge, culture, and wisdom from great philosophers like Dr. Radhakrishnan. He taught us the values of respect, discipline, and duty. I am always grateful to my teachers because they don’t just teach us academics but also how to live life. Respecting teachers is true education. On this Teacher’s Day, I sincerely thank all my teachers.”
The event was attended by teachers and students, filling the school with an atmosphere of joy and inspiration.
