Siddhi Kapshikar, a musician from Pimpri Chinchwad, has made history by securing a Guinness World Record for the longest continuous harmonium performance. She played for an impressive 10 hours, 23 minutes, and 22 seconds on February 2, 2025, coinciding with Vasant Panchami, a significant cultural festival in India.
During this record-breaking performance, Siddhi showcased her expertise in Indian classical music, performing over 75 ragas across 25 different genres. Her remarkable achievement is a tribute to her gurus, the harmonium, and India’s rich musical heritage.
Siddhi attributed her success to years of dedicated practice and the unwavering support of her well-wishers. Expressing pride in her feat, Maval MP Shrirang Barne (Shiv Sena – Eknath Shinde faction) congratulated her, recognizing the honor she has brought to Pimpri Chinchwad.
