PMC collects over Rs 6 lakh fine from offenders littering in Pune

Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has collected over Rs 6 Lakh in fines from offenders in Pune for littering, non-segregation of waste, burning waste, dumping construction-related waste and many more.
As per information and data shared by Sandip Kadam, Deputy Commissioner, PMC Solid Waste Management Department, the PMC has collected a total fine of Rs 6,43,010 from October 1 to October 9, 2023, from 1,479 offenders.
Hence, the following is the entire breakup of offenders, fine collected & type of offence from October 1 to October 9:
