PMC collects Rs 5,77,000 fine from people not wearing masks
Pune Municipal Corporation Mayor Murlidhar Mohol on October 17, 2020 informed that strict action has been taken against people not wearing masks and not wearing it properly. Also, action has been taken against people in spitting at public places.
PMC till date has collected Rs 5 crores 77 lakh fine from 1,16,655 people fined both by PMC and Pune Police till date. A total of 4692 cases have been registered against people spitting in public places and collected a fine of Rs 6.29 lakhs. He said an order has been issued on the usage of masks in public places.
