PMPML launches ATAL service with 5km routes for Rs 5 every 5 minutes”Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited on October 21, 2020 announced ATAL service – (Aligning Transit on All Lines) is aimed at providing quick services on over 62 routes. There are nine bus routes in central Pune and 52 feeding routes from where passengers to terminal depots. The average length of 5 kms will cost Rs 5. Buses will run on these routes every 5 minutes, ” said Dr Rajendra Jagtap, Chairman and Managing Director, PMPML.The initiative was inaugurated on October 24 Maharashtra state BJP chief Chandrakant Patil and Kothrud MLA. To operate the service, PMPML has identified 37 new routes after feedback from passengers, the bus drivers and data sales of tickets.
