PMPML To Launch ‘Go PMP’ App For Mobile Ticket Booking
Passengers Can Book Bus Tickets On The PMPML Mobile App Soon- Pune Pulse
The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) is now taking a step forward after the UPI launch of ‘UPI QR Code’ Ticket Allotment Service inside PMPML buses.
PMPML is going to launch an application called ‘Go PMP’ from 20th October to enable ticketing on mobile.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Satish Gate, PRO, PMPML, said “PMPML administration is dutiful to provide facilities to passengers. Efforts are being made to provide maximum facilities to the people of Pune. PMPML ticketing system has been improved and QR code service has been started. After that, an app called ‘Go PMP’ will be launched from the 20th October to enable passengers to buy tickets even at home. Passengers will be able to purchase tickets through mobile through that app.”
As per further information, thanks to the app, Pune residents will be able to purchase tickets directly from their mobile phones from their homes, workplaces etc.
Through this app, passengers will also be able to get information about PMPML’s various systems, operations and travel tickets from their mobiles. Passengers will receive a QR code on ticket purchase from the app. This QR code is then to be shown to the bus carrier.
After showing, the carrier will scan this QR code through their machine and the passenger will get the bus ticket immediately. Carriers will not need much time for this.
