NIBM Undri Road society residents troubled with erratic power cut
Over 150 residents of NIBM Undri road society stay without power for 15 hours

Pune: Residents of Bramha Majestic, NIBM Undri Road, are in distress due to the regular occurrence of power cuts.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, a resident of Bramha Majestic, NIBM Undri Road, requesting anonymity said, “Every day, the electricity supply goes off for more than 10 minutes. This is not right at all. We face a lot of issues due to this. Every time, we call up MSEDCL but nothing happens about this at all. For half the time, they themselves are in the dark about the issue. Whenever they approach us, they tell us that the transformer in our area must have gone off and more such reasons. They give a lot of excuses & no concrete response is ever given by them regarding this. On October 12 (Thursday), the electric supply was cut off only to be restored after 5 hours.”
Another Resident of Bramha Majestic, NIBM Undri Road, requesting anonymity said, ” The power cut has become a regular occurrence now as electricity goes off for nearly 20 minutes. The reason for this is not clear. We face severe problems as the electrical appliances malfunction due to it.”
Some electricity cuts have also been reported in recent times in areas like Lulla Nagar where electricity cut happens every day, Kalewadi where repeated power cuts have taken place, and many more.
Nishikant Raut, PRO, MSEDCL Pune said, “We will send someone to inspect the issue & resolve it.”
