PMPML to run buses for frontline workers

Keeping in mind the spike in covid19 cases in Pune, the district administration had asked to keep the public transport shut. But the increasing demand of commuters who are dependent on public transport, the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has decided to run buses on some routes to provide transport to such frontline workers. These buses will run for Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation employees, Sassoon hospital staff, private hospital and government employees only. These employees must carry their identity cards. These buses will run at 6 am – 1 pm and 1 pm to 9 pm for every one hour.
Below are the routes on which PMPML will run its buses :
- Bus Route No – 104 – Nanded City to Deccan
- Bus Route No – 49 – IAT (Khadakwasla to Pune station)
- Bus Route No – 354 – Aundh to Deccan
- Bus Route No – 166 – Viman Nagar to Manapa
- Bus Route No – 152 – Vishrantwadi to Manapa
- Bus Route No – 204 – Sangvi police to Pune station
- Bus Route No – 204 – Chinchwadgaon to Pune station
- Bus Route No – 159 – Manapa to Wagholi
- Bus Route No – 155 – Manapa to Lohegaon
- Bus Route No 170 – Manapa to Kondhwa hospital
- Bus Route No – 165 – Manapa to Wadgaonsheri
- Bus Route No – 144 – Warje Malwadi to Pune station
- Bus Route No – 94 – Kothrud Depot to Pune station
- Bus Route No – 144 – Warje malwadi to Manapa
- Bus Route No – 2 – Katraj to Katraj (Balaji Nagar to Swargate, Bajirao road, Manapa, Simla office, RTO, Naidu hospital, Pune station depot, Collector Office, Gadital, Shaniwarwada, Mandai, Swargate to Katraj)
- Bus Route No – 24 – Katraj to Pune station
Bus Route No – 111 – Bhekrai Nagar to Manapa - Bus Route No – 207 – Saswad to Pune station
- Bus Route No – 305 – Talegain to Manapa
- Bus Route No – 358 – Rajgurunagar to Manapa

There are 41 buses which will run on the special request as per the demand raised by the frontline workers and other commuters who are dependent on public transport. The commuters should be tendered e ticket facility through the e machines and if the machines are not in function and in such condition manual tickets can be tendered.
