Police arrest duo for duping women MLAs
The arrested persons has been identified as Mukesh Ashok Rathod, a resident of Vasant Nagar Buldhana and Sunita Kalyan Kshirsagar, a resident of Jaibhavani nagar Aurangabad.

Pune police have arrested two competitive exam aspirants for allegedly duping city-based MLA Madhuri Misal by saying that their mother was sick. The incident happened on July 12th.
The arrested persons has been identified as Mukesh Ashok Rathod, a resident of Vasant Nagar Buldhana and Sunita Kalyan Kshirsagar, a resident of Jaibhavani nagar Aurangabad.

The police have registered the case against Mukesh Rathod under the relevant sections of Indian Penal Code as well as under The Information Technology Act.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, DCP Namrata Patil confirmed the arrest and said, “The two are friends and preparing for the Maharashtra state public service commission examination. Based on the cyber investigation inputs, two teams were formed. The Google pay number belonged to arrested suspect Sunita. “
She added, “This kind of duping activity started a month back. Rathod claimed that his mother was sick and was undergoing treatment in a Pune hospital. He asked for financial help and Pooja transferred the amount after being instructed by her mother, MLA missal. Rathod used the same method to dupe other women MLAs too.”
