Political Posters Without Permission Stir Controversy in Pimpri-Chinchwad
Unauthorized posters showing Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis paying respects to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, captioned “Deva Bhau”, have triggered controversy across the city. Residents have demanded strict police action, calling the act disrespectful and politically motivated.
The posters, displayed on flyovers, grade separators, and underground passages, were allegedly put up without permission. Locals urged Police Commissioner Vinaykumar Chaube to identify the culprits using CCTV footage and ensure the immediate removal of the banners.
Confirming the violation, PCMC’s Sky Sign Department said legal action would be taken. BJP city president Shatrughna Kate also directed officials to act swiftly against those responsible.
