Pune: 25 Skill Schools To Come Up In Partnership With Dr. Vijay Bhatkar And Zilla Parishad
Pune, October 16, 2025: Padma Bhushan awardee Dr. Vijay Bhatkar, Chairman of Chaitanya Foundation, has agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Pune Zilla Parishad to establish 25 “Skill Schools” across the district.
The announcement was made during a meeting held at Jhunbhar Hall, Pune, in the presence of Gajanan Patil (IAS), Chief Executive Officer of the Pune Zilla Parishad, along with senior officials.
The collaboration aims to promote vocational education, employability, and entrepreneurship among students, aligning with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the vision of nurturing skilled and self-reliant rural youth.
This initiative reflects the shared commitment of Dr. Bhatkar and the Pune Zilla Parishad to integrate technology, innovation, and value-based education in government schools across the district.
