Pune: 25 Year Old Youth Dies After Bike Rams Flyover Ledge Near Nal Stop Metro Station
Pune, July 10, 2025: A 25-year-old youth tragically lost his life after his motorcycle crashed into the ledge of a flyover near the Nal Stop Metro Station on Karve Road shortly after midnight.
The deceased has been identified as Rajsingh Tamatta, a resident of Community Café, Kothrud. The fatal accident occurred around 12:30 am on July 2, according to Alankar Police.
As per the complaint lodged by Vinod Pillay (55), a resident of Ghorpadi village, Rajsingh was riding his bike at high speed along the Karve Road flyover when he lost control near the metro station.
The bike collided with the side ledge of the flyover with tremendous force, causing severe head injuries.
Police teams rushed to the spot upon receiving the alert and immediately shifted the injured youth to a nearby hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
A case has been registered, and Alankar Police are investigating the circumstances leading to the crash.
