Amanora School celebrated the 79th Independence Day with immense pride, enthusiasm, and patriotic fervour, turning the campus into a vibrant sea of tricolour decorations. The event, held on August 15, witnessed students, teachers, and staff uniting to honour India’s glorious freedom.
The celebration commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony led by Director Principal Ms. Meera Nair and Senior Grade Headmistress Amrita Gangwal. The rendition of the National Anthem and the flag song filled the atmosphere with pride and emotion.

Students from Grades VI to XII presented a captivating cultural programme blending drama, music, and dance. The drama powerfully portrayed the struggles and sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters, reminding the audience that Independence Day is not merely a holiday but a festival of pride, unity, and remembrance. The musical performances stirred deep patriotic emotions, while high-energy dance acts depicted the undying spirit of the nation.
Inspiring speeches in Hindi and English, delivered by students, emphasized that every small contribution towards the nation’s progress strengthens its unity and integrity. The programme concluded with a message that true patriotism lies in everyday actions and responsibilities towards the country.
