Pune: Ambegaon Police Station Becomes First In City Commissionerate To Receive ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Ambegaon Police Station has become the first police station under the Pune Police Commissionerate to receive the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management. The certificate was officially handed over today by Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar in a ceremony held at the station.
The achievement is a result of the dedicated efforts of Senior Police Inspector Sharad Jhine and his team, whose meticulous work in record management, updated files, and systematic procedures led to this milestone. The certification has brought more efficiency and discipline in operations, enhancing the overall quality of service provided to citizens.

Officials stated that the ISO certification has also helped reduce work stress among officers and motivated them to maintain high standards in public service. It marks a significant step in Ambegaon Police Station’s commitment to transparent and citizen-friendly policing.
The certification event was attended by top officials including Additional Commissioner of Police (West) Sanjay Bansode, Joint Commissioner Ranjan Kumar Sharma, DCP Smarta Patil (Zone 2), ACP Rahul Aware (Swargate Division), Inspector Gajanan Chormale (Crime), and other staff members of Ambegaon Police Station.
