Pune: Aspiring Cops Brutally Attacked By Goons During Practice At Taljai Hills; Video Goes Viral
Pune, July 15, 2025: In a shocking incident, a group of aspiring police recruits practicing at Pune’s Taljai Hills were brutally assaulted by local goons on Monday morning. A video of the attack has gone viral, sparking outrage and panic in the area.
According to reports, several students were practicing physical drills at the hill as part of their preparation for police recruitment when a gang of 10-12 miscreants arrived and started attacking them. Shockingly, even female candidates were not spared. The attackers allegedly mocked the students, saying, “You’re not worthy of becoming police officers,” while beating them mercilessly.
The motive behind the assault is still unclear, and police are investigating who the attackers were and why they targeted the trainees.
Following the incident, the terrified students and their trainers approached the Sahakarnagar police station and lodged a complaint. Police have begun the process of registering a case and are examining CCTV footage from the area to identify the culprits.
This incident has created widespread fear among candidates preparing for police recruitment in the area.
