Pune, August 6, 2025: A major accident occurred a short while ago near Navale Bridge in Pune. According to initial reports, the incident happened when the brakes of a speeding truck heading from Katraj towards Mumbai suddenly failed.
The out-of-control truck crashed into several cars ahead, causing significant damage to multiple four-wheelers. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far. The accident caused traffic congestion in the area for some time. Police promptly arrived at the scene and began efforts to restore the flow of traffic.
It is also being reported that the truck driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. Police have stated that further investigation is underway and appropriate legal action will be taken against the driver.
