A 56-year-old man was tricked on Sunday, March 3, into buying furniture after seeing an online advertisement in Bavdhan. The case of fraud, totaling Rs 3,32,995, has been reported.
A case against an unidentified individual has been registered by the Hinjawadi police as a result of the victim’s complaint.
The accused allegedly responded to the complainant’s plan to purchase used furniture from his home through an advertisement, according to the police. The accused repeatedly sent scanners and withdrew a total of Rs 3,32,995 from the complainant’s account under the guise of making the purchase.
The Hinjawadi Police are looking into this matter.
