Pune, July 24, 2-25: With the holy month of Shravan set to begin from Monday, a significant number of devotees are expected to visit Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga. In view of the anticipated rush, the administration has taken proactive steps to streamline arrangements for devotees.

District Collector Jitendra Dudi has instructed the Bhimashankar Temple Trust to set up an official website that provides all essential information and facilities for pilgrims. A review meeting was held at the Collector’s office regarding preparations for Shravan Mondays. It was attended by temple trust officials, sub-divisional officers of Junnar and Khed, tehsildars, and other administrative authorities.

To manage the crowd, the administration has proposed two separate queues — one for VIP darshan and another for general devotees. Designated stages will be created for darshan and puja. The police department has been directed to identify parking spots and provide charging stations at those locations. The forest department will inspect and clear any road obstacles to ensure smooth access for devotees.

Additionally, QR code-enabled boards will be installed in the temple premises, Bhimashankar village, and Manchar to offer digital access to darshan services and facility information. All preparations must be completed by Sunday, as per the Collector’s directive.
