Pune: Biker Loses Life Due to Uneven Road on Hadapsar-Vaiduwadi Bridge, Shiv Sena Threatens Protest
Pune: A tragic accident on the Hadapsar-Vaiduwadi Bridge has once again highlighted the poor condition of city roads. A young biker lost his life after his two-wheeler skidded on the uneven surface, throwing him under an oncoming ST bus. The incident has sparked outrage among citizens and political leaders alike.
The uneven road condition is reportedly due to improper asphalt layering, making the surface hazardous for commuters. Following the fatal accident, Shiv Sena has issued a stern warning to the administration, demanding immediate repairs.
“The road must be repaired on priority. If the administration fails to act, Shiv Sena will organize a strong public protest,” said Ulhas Bhau Tupe, Pune District Chief and Government-Appointed Corporator of Shiv Sena.
Residents and daily commuters have also voiced their concerns, urging authorities to take swift action to prevent further mishaps. Meanwhile, local leaders have called for accountability from the agencies responsible for road maintenance.
