Pune, September 22, 2025: The Shree Devi Chatushrungi Temple Trust has announced that the Navratri Festival 2025 will be celebrated with grandeur and devotion from September 22 to October 2, 2025. Following a century-old tradition, the temple will remain open 24×7 for devotees during the festival, accompanied by daily rituals, special events, cultural programs, and extensive safety and health arrangements.

Religious Programs

Ghatasthapana will take place on September 22 at 8:30 am, performed by trustee-manager Ravindra Angal, followed by Abhishek, Rudrabhishek, Mahavastra offering, and Mahapuja, led by Shriram Narayan Kande Guruji.

Balwadkar

Daily Maha Aarti at 10 am and 8 pm with Shankhnaad.

Daily bhajans, kirtans, pravachans, and recitations of Shri Sukt, Lalita Sahasranam, Mahishasur Mardini Stotra, and Vedic chants.

Special Highlights

September 27: Aajibai’s Bhondla at Nivara Old Age Home for women, organized by SuYog Mitra Mandal, Gokhalenagar.

October 1, 7 pm: Navchandi Hom.

October 2 (Dussehra, 5 pm): Simollanghan Palkhi procession with bands, dhol-tasha, lezim, nagara, choughada, and flower showers from a helicopter. A troupe of Marathi film artists will lead the dhol-tasha performance.

Fire brigade stationed at the temple throughout the festival.

₹2 crore insurance cover for all devotees attending the yatra.

Eco-Friendly Initiatives

Tree plantation on the hill behind the temple with organic manure made from flowers offered to the Goddess.
