Pune Citizens Launch Flood Relief Camp For Punjab's Flood Affected Families
Pune, September 10, 2025: A flood relief camp has been launched in Pune to support families affected by the devastating floods in Punjab. The initiative, organised by Akhil Nagrik Ekta Manch, Kondhwa in collaboration with Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha, Ganesh Peth, Pune, aims to extend solidarity and humanitarian aid to those in need.
The relief camp is being held from Tuesday, September 9 to Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Jyoti Hotel, Kondhwa, Pune. Its primary objective is to collect both financial assistance and essential relief materials for flood-hit families.
Organisers have appealed to Pune residents to contribute generously. Citizens can donate amounts starting from ₹10, ₹50, or ₹100 through a QR code payment system or contribute according to their capacity. In addition to monetary donations, essential relief supplies such as food grains, medicines, ready-to-eat meals, mosquito repellents, blankets, and children’s clothing are also being sought.
The organisers have also urged residents to share information about the campaign widely on social media and WhatsApp groups to maximize participation and support.
“Punjab is facing a difficult time, and it is our responsibility to stand by the affected families. Even a small contribution can make a big difference,” said the volunteers associated with the drive.
