Pune: Deadline Extended for NMMS Scholarship Exam Applications Till October 21
Pune, October 14, 2025: The Maharashtra State Examination Council has announced an extension for submitting applications for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Examination 2025, which will be held on December 28, 2025. The examination is designed to support students from economically weaker sections through scholarships to continue their education.
According to the notification, schools and students can complete their registration and submit applications online through the official websites — www.mscepune.in and www.mscenmms.in. Applications with the regular fee will be accepted until October 21, 2025, while submissions with a late fee will be accepted between October 22 and October 30, 2025.
However, the council has clarified that no applications will be accepted with an extra-late fee, and under no circumstances will forms be accepted — online or offline — after October 30, 2025.
Commissioner of the Examination Council, Anuradha Oak, has urged schools and students to complete their application process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues. The extension aims to ensure that eligible students across Maharashtra can benefit from the NMMS scholarship opportunity.
