Pune Division Of Central Railway Seized 1284 Unauthorized Packaged Drinking Water Bottles From Station
Pune, September 20, 2025: Pune Division of Central Railway, in its ongoing efforts to curb unauthorized sale of packaged drinking water, conducted a special drive under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager, Pune, Rajesh Kumar Verma, the leadership of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Anil Kumar Pathak, and supervision of Assistant Commercial Manager (Goods), Shantanu Atre at Pune Railway Station.
During this intensive drive, the team seized a total of 107 boxes containing 1,284 bottles of unauthorized branded packaged drinking water bottles.
Pune Division appeals to all passengers to:
Refrain from purchasing unauthorized packaged drinking water from hawkers or unlicensed vendors.
Always purchase the authorized “Rail Neer” packaged drinking water bottle, available at station stalls and authorized counters.
