Pune: Eco-Friendly Ganesh Idol-Making Workshop At Vedanta Society In Wakad
Pune, August 25, 2025: Vedanta Society, Wakad, organized a unique ecoResidents Ganesh idol-making workshop on Saturday. The workshop encouraged residents to create Ganesh idols using Shadu clay, aiming to conserve the environment while keeping traditions alive.
The highlight of the event was the enthusiastic participation of children. Kids came together with excitement and joy, experiencing the thrill of crafting Ganesh idols with their own hands. Their creativity and innocence added a special charm to the workshop, while also helping them stay connected with cultural heritage in an eco-conscious way.
The event was successfully conducted under the guidance of Chairman Dr. Somnath Dhonde, Secretary Sneha Rao, and Treasurer Pramod Bhosale, with active support from Vishaka Deshpande, Sumant Deshpande, and Shital Deshmukh.
