Pimpri-Chinchwad — In response to the incessant rains affecting the region, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police have significantly increased their presence on the streets today. All officers and staff from the Police Stations and Traffic Branches are actively patrolling to ensure safety and provide immediate assistance to the residents.

The current weather conditions have heightened concerns of potential flooding, structural collapses, fallen trees, water logging, traffic disruptions, and citizens being stranded. To address these issues, senior police officers are closely monitoring their areas, coordinating with Disaster Management Authorities, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), and other relevant agencies.
