Pune: Father Arrested For Abusing Minor Daughter In Kondhwa; State Women’s Commission Orders Fast-Track Probe
Pune: A shocking case has emerged from Kondhwa, where a minor girl was allegedly subjected to sexual abuse by her father for four months.
Kondhwa Police have registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and arrested the accused.
The Maharashtra State Women’s Commission has taken cognizance of the incident. Commission Chairperson Rupali Chakankar personally called the investigating officer and directed an immediate and thorough probe. She has also instructed officials to check on the girl’s health condition and ensure counseling to help her cope with the severe psychological trauma.

Further, the Commission has emphasized that the case be expedited and pursued in a fast-track court to ensure speedy justice for the survivor.
