Pune: Female Security Guard Sexually Assaulted By Senior Colleague At Phoenix Mall Of The Millennium In Wakad
Pimpri-Chinchwad, September 16, 2025: A serious incident of sexual assault occurred at a well-known mall in the Wakad area of Pimpri-Chinchwad. A female security guard was allegedly assaulted by her senior colleague on the third floor of the mall. The Wakad Police have registered a case in this regard.
According to reports, the incident took place at Phoenix Mall Of The Millennium, Wakad. The victim, who works as a security guard in a private security company along with her husband, was allegedly targeted by 45-year-old Manoj Dhondiram Kadam, a senior officer of the company. While she was on duty, Kadam reportedly isolated her from her colleagues, took her to a room in the mall, and asked inappropriate questions about her posting. He then committed obscene acts against her without her consent.
The woman resisted and tried to hit Kadam, but he allegedly overpowered her and carried out the sexual assault.
Based on the victim’s complaint, the Wakad Police have registered a case against Manoj Kadam under Sections 74, 351(2), and 351(3) of the Indian Penal Code. Further investigation is underway.
